Trade Up Program

The most outstanding feature of LTL International's machinery is what we refer to as "Modular Pricing." Modular design and modular pricing allow the customer to purchase a machine that can be upgraded by simply paying the price difference for the additional components only. This provides the customer the benefit of utilizing capital that would otherwise be exhausted on new equipment for other areas of the business. "Modular Pricing" allows the customer the flexibility to expand his business, and his production output, at a comfortable pace without worrying about under utilization of equipment due to early overbuying or equipment obsolescence.

As an example of our "Trade-Up! Program", let's suppose that a customer purchases a Step-3® machine in 1995 for $5800.00 to produce 80 blinds per shift. If, in 1997, the demand for the customer’s production has grown to 175 blinds per shift, he may wish to purchase a CW24/6® for $11,000.00. The customer now has the option to upgrade his existing Step-3® just by paying the difference in price between the two machines, which is $5,200.00. Note that for less than the price of another Step-3®, the customer is able to almost double his production potential without the need of adding space for a second unit or an additional employee to operate the second machine.

All upgrade modifications can be done by the customer or our service technicians worldwide at the customer's location. Additionally, the machine can be returned to our factory for a complete inspection and maintenance program and your requested upgrade.
